Some dog breeds just can't be trained.
All dogsâregardless of breedâlearn using the same basic principles. Some might be more driven by food, toys, or movement, but at the core, every dog can learn. Itâs not about the breedâitâs about understanding what motivates your individual dog.
If you missed the puppy window, it's too late.
While itâs true that early training can help prevent problems, adult dogs are absolutely capable of learning new skills and behaviours. It might take a bit more consistency and patience, but change is always possible with a solid plan.
Reactivity takes months or years to fix.
Reactivity often looks complex, but the fundamentals behind it are simple. The reason it can take forever is because many training methods focus on things that look like progress but donât actually address the root causes. Real progress comes from fulfilling your dogâs needs, building clear communication, and exposing them to the world in the right way.
You should never say "NO" to your dog.
Teaching your dog what behaviours arenât okay is just as important as teaching what is. Saying âNoâ in a fair, consistent way creates clarityânot confusion or fear. Ignoring problem behavior doesnât make it go away; it often makes it worse.
More socialisation is always the answer.
Letting your dog meet endless new dogs wonât fix reactivity or poor behaviour. True socialisation isnât about quantityâitâs about quality. A dog who lacks boundaries, purpose, or emotional regulation wonât become more balanced just by meeting more dogs.

Day Training is ideal for owners who want real progress made on their dog's behaviour but can't always commit to regular session times. Your dog spends the day with me at my training facility, where they receive structured training, walks, and feeding â all tailored to their individual needs.
At the end of the day, we sit down together for a full 60-minute handover so you understand exactly what was worked on, what your dog responded to, and what to practise at home to keep the progress going.
Drop-off and collection is flexible â drop your dog at my premises and collect at the end of the day, or I can collect and return your dog to your home. A combination of both works too.
Prices start form ÂŁ120 for Half Day's training to ÂŁ900 for 5 Full Days
